Hand filter or pour over

Place the filter paper in the ceramic filter and moisten it with water. Now place the ceramic filter over a pot or cup and fill the filter with the freshest coffee (medium grind). The more coffee grounds you add to the filter per cup, the stronger the coffee will taste. We recommend 6 to 8 g of coffee for every 150 ml of water. Wet the coffee with hot (but not boiling) water in circular motions and let it steep. Then let the water run completely through the filter.

Hand infusion works similarly with a permanent filter

Fill the filter with freshly ground coffee (medium grind or slightly coarser than filter paper). The more ground coffee you add per cup, the stronger the coffee will taste. We recommend 8 to 12 g of coffee for 150 ml of water. Moisten the ground coffee with hot (but not boiling) water in a circular motion and let it steep briefly. Continue adding more hot water until the maximum fill level is reached. Then wait until the water has completely run through the filter.
