We have lost our hearts to Edel Canephora (often called Robusta) – for us, THE espresso with the Italian kick.

Unfortunately, Canephora coffee doesn't always have a positive reputation. This is partly due to the fact that it requires a different roasting process than Arabica beans, and there are many inferior Canephora varieties on the market, mostly processed by industrial roasters. Truly good varieties are rare and very difficult to find.

Thanks to our many years of experience, we know how to roast this noble bean properly, and we have sourced excellent green coffee from Africa, South America, and India, which is even considerably more expensive than some Arabica varieties.
